As this report goes to press, the notorious brigand Veerappan (He Who Uses Only One Name) has relented and released the cine-star Rajkumar (who never quite made it to those high echelons where the media would call him a thespian). The release deal is shrouded in secrecy with all the elements of a classical suspense thriller -- there was a mysterious woman (not quite veiled, alas) who played a key role, there were political extremist groups, there was an unexplained escape of one hostage before the big release, ... last heard of, on TV, Rajkumar said he had a good idea for a forthcoming film. (Truth writes better screenplay scripts than fiction!) Watch out for the release of ``120 days with Veerappan''...
