Status and Random thoughts

The alpha boards are up and running GNU/Linux. The beta boards are currently undergoing tests. The beta boards will go into the Simputer. The packaging is ready (thanks to APDAP at IISc). The browser, imli, is ready and so are several applications on it. The specification for IML is available for your perusal. The site, www.simputer.org contains a lot more information for the interested. This includes snapshots, IML specification, examples of the synthesised speech outputs.
