India wins one silver and two bronze medals at IOI-2007, Zagreb, Croatia
The International Olympiad in Informatics, 2007 (IOI-2007) was held at Zagreb, Croatia in August, 2007. The Indian team won three medals - one silver and two bronze. The three students who won medals at IOI-2007 are:

The ZIO and INOI examinations were conducted in collaboration with the Central Board for Secondary Education.
Sasken sponsored the 15 day training camp from 21 June to 5 July, 2007 in Bangalore to choose the final team and also provided full financial support for the team's trip to IOI-2007.
The following units of the National Council of Science Museums helped conduct the ZIO and INOI examinations.
The International School Bangalore made their congenial campus available to us for holding the training camp in June-July.

The Leader and Deputy Leader of the Indian contingent will be Prof Madhavan Mukund, Chennai Mathematical Institute, Chennai and Prof K Narayan Kumar, Chennai Mathematical Institute, Chennai.
The team was chosen at the end of a 15 day training camp, held in Bangalore during the period 21 June-5 July, 2007.
Indian National Olympiad

INOI-2007 was held on Sunday, 21 January, 2007. 24 students have qualified from INOI-2007 for the training camp in June to select the Indian team to IOI-2007.

The Zonal Informatics Olympiad, 2007 (ZIO-2007) was held on Saturday, 18 November, 2006. Of the 7200 students who participated in ZIO-2007, 244 students have qualified for the Indian National Olympiad in Informatics, 2007 (INOI-2007).
