International Olympiad in Informatics, 2020
IOI-2020 was organized online by Singapore during the period 13–23 September, 2020. The team that represented India at IOI-2020 was as follows.

- Shashwat Chandra, Delhi Public School, RK Puram, New Delhi
- Udit Sanghi, Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula
- Kshitij Sodani, Delhi Public School, Gurgaon
Rajarshi Basu and Udit Sanghi won silver medals, while Shashwat Chandra and Kshitij Sodani won bronze medals.

The Leader and Deputy Leader of the Indian contingent were Madhavan Mukund and K Narayan Kumar, both from Chennai Mathematical Institute, Chennai.
Asia-Pacific Informatics Olympiad, 2020
The Asia-Pacific Informatics Olympiad 2020 (APIO-2020) was organized online by Indonesia during the period 15–16 August, 2020. The Indian team for APIO consists of all students who have qualified for IOITC. The top six contestants from each country are eligible to receive medals at APIO.
Indian won six medals at APIO-2020. Shashwat Chandra, Udit Sanghi and Kshitij Sodani won silver medals. Rajarshi Basu, Soumyaditya Choudhuri and Utkarsh Agrawal won bronze medals
Indian Olympiad in Informatics Training Camp, 2020 (IOITC-2020)
The Indian team for IOI is selected at the International Olympiad in Informatics Training Camp (IOITC). IOITC-2020 was held online during the period June–August, 2020.

Indian National Olympiad in Informatics, 2020 (INOI-2020)
The Indian National Olympiad in Informatics, 2020 (INOI-2020) took place on Sunday, 12 January, 2020. 32 students have qualified for the International Olympiad in Informatics Training Camp, 2020 (IOITC-2020) to select the Indian team for the International Olympiad in Informatics, 2020 (IOI-2020).
Zonal Computing Olympiad, 2020 (ZCO-2020)
The Zonal Computing Olympiad, 2020 (ZCO-2020) was held at 35 citues across India on Sunday, 1 December, 2019. 853 students registered for ZCO-2020, of whom 586 wrote the exam.
158 students have qualified through ZCO-2020 for INOI-2020..
ZCO-2020 was conducted in cooperation with Codechef.
Zonal Informatics Olympiad, 2020 (ZIO-2020)
The Zonal Informatics Olympiad, 2020 (ZIO-2020) was held at 35 citues across India on Sunday, 10 November, 2019. 594 students registered for ZIO-2019, of whom 463 wrote the exam.
152 students have qualified through ZIO-2020 for INOI-2020..
ZIO-2020 was conducted in cooperation with TCS iON, a division of Tata Consultancy Services.
